An application round of the EKKAV program for the autumn semester of the 2025/26 academic year is

The application period is ongoing from February 15th until March 15th 2026

Important:

• The applicant must register for the summer or winter course himself/herself;
  The course participation fee, accommodation and cultural excursions of the summer and winter courses will be covered with the scholarship;  
• The travelling expenses will be self-financed by the applicant;  
• When using the scholarship (attending the summer and winter courses), the grantee is expected to follow the course organiser’s instructions regarding travelling to Estonia (possible restrictions) and participation in the course (more information can be found on the course websites or via direct contact with the organiser);
   
• The applicant is expected to mark his/her preference regarding a specific summer or winter course in the application.

Required application documents are:

• formal application where the applicant describes the additional value deriving from participation in the course;
• recommendation letter from the applicant’s Estonian lecturer / other certificate regarding knowledge of Estonian.

The evaluation and decision procedure normally takes until 45 days from the date of the announced application deadline. The applicants will be contacted individually regarding the grant decision.

The application form must be signed digitally (with an ID card or Mobile ID) or in writing and then scanned and sent with additional documents to the e-mail address [email protected], with the title of the e-mail being „Suve- ja talvekursuste stipendium (EKKAV)“
