Estonian Education and Youth Board announced international tender to find IT company to develop Ukrainian vocational education information system

In the framework of the programme “EU4Skills: Better skills for modern Ukraine“ Estonian Education and Youth Board (Harno) has announced international tender in order to find infosystem developers to create digital tool for data processing of vocational education information system.

Harno experts together with Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Ukrainian Institute of Educational Analytics have composed a concept and technical requirements of the information system to be developed and are inviting companies from different countries to take part of the tender, which is opened until 11th of November 2021.

New vocational education information system will allow to gather information from Ukrainian vocational education institutions and present it in depersonalized way.  System ensures that students, teachers, local municipalities, ministries and other stakeholders have access to reliable information, which is essential in decision making process.

Development of Ukrainian vocational information system is one of many activities under the programme “EU4Skills: Better skills for modern Ukraine”. Overall objective of the programme is to reform and modernize the Vocational Education Training (VET) system in Ukraine and to contribute to sustainable and inclusive socio-economic development via better economic governance, increased diversification and higher labour productivity.

The program is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) as a lead partner.  Other partners are the Estonian Education and Youth Board (Harno), the Finnish Board of Education (EDUFI) and the Polish Solidarity Fund (PSF).
