At the master's and doctoral level, studies are supported in all fields. At the first level of higher education (BA), scholarships can be applied for only in fields related to the Estonian language and culture. Applications will be accepted from students from countries whose citizenship is in one of the countries listed scholarship guide in Annex 1.
The rate of the scholarship for first-cycle (BA level) higher education and master's studies is 350 euros per month and the rate of the doctoral scholarship is 660 euros per month.
The deadline for foreign student scholarship applications is September 1st, 2021. The application with all the required annexes shall be submitted electronically via the application system. Applications are evaluated and the decision about granting the scholarship is made by the scholarship Commission.
Estonian Ministry of Education and Research and Education and Youth Board offer scholarships to foreign nationals, pursuant to bilateral intergovernmental or inter-ministerial agreements concluded with other countries. Starting from the year 2016 the scholarships based on the international agreements are offered in the framework of the Estonian Scholarship Programme for international students, researchers and academic staff.
